You can start with signed-in Z-Image Turbo text-to-image without buying a credit plan. Credits are used by the other currently available image options. This guide separates those choices so that you can check the cost before submitting a task.
Which generation options use credits?
| Selection | Credits / task | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Z-Image Turbo in Text to Image, signed in | 0 | Both the mode and model must match the free option. |
| Other available Text to Image models | Current quote | Check the selected model, settings and your balance. |
| Image to Image | Current quote | The quote includes the selected model and inputs. |
Paid tasks use model-based pricing. Check and confirm the displayed cost in the generator before submitting. Earlier plan image-count examples used the former two-credit rule; existing credit balances, expiration dates and subscription records remain unchanged. Lower-cost models remain available, and a package does not promise the same image count for every model.
Free generation allows 10 tasks per account per day and one image per task, with one free task active at a time. The shared monthly free budget is US$10. Daily limits reset at midnight and the shared budget resets on the first of the month, Taipei time. Free generation pauses when the budget is exhausted; accepted tasks and downloads remain available. A notice appears when less than 20% remains. Submitted reservations count toward the free limits even when their result needs checking.
Up to two paid tasks can be active at once. After three confirmed paid-task failures in a Taipei day, new paid tasks pause until the next day. Confirmed failures return the original credits once; a timeout or failed status lookup is not proof of failure. These limits do not promise a particular speed, quality or priority.
If your account or credit balance is still loading, let that check complete. An unavailable balance is not the same as a zero balance. For credit-based options, check your account before retrying.
When might a credit plan be useful?
Consider a plan when you need a currently available model or image-to-image mode that uses credits. The free text-to-image path remains a separate choice. Use the pricing page to compare the offers currently displayed; do not assume that every model costs the same or that a purchase changes the free model's output.
Before opening checkout, review:
- Whether the chosen offer is recurring or a one-time purchase.
- The displayed price, currency, credit amount and validity period.
- The selected offer summary and any current subscription information.
- The provider's final checkout details before approving a payment.
A checkout opening or being created is not proof that a payment completed. Do not start another purchase solely because a return page is slow; check your account records and the payment status first.
Where are payment and subscription records?
After signing in, use the account menu or open Billing and subscription, Payments and Credits. These are private account pages. Available management actions depend on the current account, subscription status and payment provider.
For a recurring subscription, review the current subscription and the cancellation page's details before confirming an action. This guide does not promise an immediate refund, a particular cancellation date, credit rollover or a new entitlement beyond the terms actually shown for your offer.
What if generation or downloading fails?
Check your image tasks before creating another task. An uncertain page status or a failed download does not by itself prove that generation failed. If a completed task has an available image, try its download action again. Provider links can expire, so keep a local copy of results you need.
A new generation is a new task and may use credits. The step-by-step guide explains the result and recovery flow. Refund eligibility and image usage rights are separate questions; neither can be inferred from a task's credit cost.
